Watercraft Guidelines
- Invasive Eurasian watermilfoil is well-established in Lac Notre-Dame.
- Milfoil is present throughout much of the lake because this hearty plant spreads easily and thrives in the many shallow areas of Lac Notre-Dame.
- In July 2025, members attending the Annual meeting of the Association unanimously adopted Watercraft Guidelines to slow the spread of the weed.
- Please follow the Guidelines (stay out of the RED zones!) and ask your guests to follow them too!
- Last summer, we knocked on every door around the lake to drop off a durable copy of the Guidelines Map which was produced to show the extent of milfoil coverage in 2024.

Resident Consultation Survey
- A survey of residents in June 2025 found a high level of concern about milfoil’s impact on laker users and the environment.
