Following consultation with residents, the Lake Association has adopted Watercraft Guidelines designed to prevent the spread of milfoil on the lake. It’s simple. Just steer clear of the weed. We just knocked on every door around the lake to drop off a durable copy of the Guidelines Map which was produced to show the extent of milfoil coverage last summer. It’s not as bad this year, but it is still present in all of the red zones. Please stay out of the Red Zones, follow all of the Guidelines and keep clear of the buoys.

Lac Notre-Dame has bad milfoil. We placed yellow buoys to mark areas with milfoil close to the surface. Every bit of weed cut by your motor forms new weeds. Stay clear and raise your motor if you see weed below. Remove any cuttings at your shoreline.
